Add Style to Your Windows Desktop With a Dock.
Make your desktop more stylish and manageable with RocketDock. I found my desktop getting cluttered with useless applications, files, and downloads, using RocketDock has cleared up the clutter and in my opinion make my desktop more stylish.
1) Open your web browser and search for “rocketdock”.
2) The first result should be the one you want. You can also click the link below.

3) Scroll down and click on the “Download” button under RocketDock.
4) Wait for the download to finish and click on it to start the installation process.
5) Run through the install process and add a shortcut to RocketDock on your desktop. Click on it to open RocketDock.
6) Click on “Dock Settings”.
7) In “General” put a check next to “Run at Startup”.
8) Click on Icons and select the size of your dock icons to your preference.
9) Click on “Position” under Layering change it to “Normal”. Press “OK” to go back to the dock.
10) Right click on the icons you want to remove and select “Delete item” to remove it.
11) Click, Hold and Drag the desktop icons you want in your dock.
12) All icons added to the dock.
13) Next you will want to hide your previous desktop icons. Right click on a blank space on your desktop. Go to “View” and uncheck “Show desktop icons”.
14) For my dock my folder icons aren’t great so I want to change them. A good site to find icons is http://www.iconarchive.com/.
I need a folder icon for settings so I can just search for that type of folder icon.
15) Find the folder that you want to use and click on “PNG”.
16) Right click on the icon and select “Save image as…”.
17) Create a folder by right clicking go to “New” and click on “Folder”. I created mine in “C:” and called it “icons”.
18) Save your icon to the folder you created.
19) Go back to your dock and right click on the icon you want to change and click on “Icon Settings…”.
20) Click on the + plus sign and add your “icons” folder.
21) Click on “C:\Icons” and select the icon you want, click ok to save the changes.
22) To stop your icons from being rearraged by accident you can right click on your dock and se’ect “Lock Items”.
