Hello guys! as you may already know Team Salvato in collaboration with fanforge has created a contest where everyone can submit his own fanart in order to create new offical licensed merchandise so i decided to partecipate and share with you my entry for this contest!
This fanart is called "Piano Prison" and it's purpose is to show a strong contrast between what Monika really loves in her life and her whole existence which is trapping her like a cage, this work is very dear to me because it marks my passage from paper sketches to digital drawing.
It represents the conflict inside monika's head using only black/green color scheme (yes, it's her eyes' one ) drawn with a flat and simple style.
