A poem/rant by Zeldafreak. It's called Your someone
First of all apologies for how sappy this is. Haven't ever posted one of my rants or poems up here so please be nice 🙈 Sometimes you come across someone truly special Someone who looks at you like every time they lay eyes on you is the first Someone who respects you and trusts you Someone who rips off your clothes and worships your body like it's the first time your skin has met In months Someone who holds you tighter when you have a nightmare and asks what it was about at whatever time In the morning Someone who tells you that you can go to their house even though they aren't home because you are upset Someone who laughs at all your jokes and teases you but not in a bad way Someone who rarely tickles you because they are so ticklish themselves Someone who when you sneeze in their face because you are half asleep, rather than be annoyed; they say bless you Someone who knows your quirks and faults but knows there is no changing you Someone who when you tell them they were in your nightmare they say sorry and hug you like they somehow caused it Someone who wakes you up because they were worried about you tossing and turning or making noises from a bad dream Someone who doesn't want to hurt you because they say you are a nice person and they care about you Someone who is trying to protect you overall and encourages you to grow and be the best version of yourself Someone who doesn't tell you off when you are struggling to eat but literally cheers you on to keep going instead Someone who thinks you look like a model and stares at you in awe when you are in your underwear Someone who gives you butterflies just from hearing their name or knowing you will see them soon Someone who lights up like Christmas when you get there Someone who kisses your forehead, even during sex; who knows that no means no and doesn't get mad when you aren't in the mood Someone who thinks your taste in movies is impeccable and loves every movie you introduce them to Someone who won't skip a song you are singing to even though you said they could be the dj for the car trip Someone who looks at you and smiles for no reason Someone who gets an extra blanket and puts it on you in your sleep because they were worried you might be cold Someone who knows about a lot of the real crazy stuff in your head but won't run away because they say they are hardly in the position to do such a thing Someone who catches you off guard, makeup half rubbed off, hair a mess, wearing warm comfy clothes, having a smoke and they say you look so, so beautiful When you find someone like this, hold on tight These kinds of people truly make an impact on your life. They change you in some small way forever Without meaning to, they engrave a place in your heart Don't let that person go without a damn good fight; because they might just be your someone.
