Ch-ch-ch-changes

Hi folks! I’m in the middle of ‘rebranding’ (inasmuch as I have a ‘brand’), and a few things have changed. My username, for one. 

Reasons why after the jump. (For the tl,dr crowd: nothing negative to do with YouTube or YouTubers, content will remain exactly as it has been, you’re all awesome). 

The reasons for the change are as follows-

I was never entirely comfortable with the YouTube part of my username, simply because it was a registered trademark and left me open to takedowns and (potentially) legal action. 

While I still knit things related to YouTubers, it isn’t my entire output (and hasn’t been for some time). This new name keeps things much more general. 

‘YouTubeKnits’ was a really awkward username to say out loud.

This new name manages to keep the ‘YTK’ initials alive, while allowing the blog to go in all sorts of interesting directions.

I’m now YoursTrulyKnits on Twitter, Ravelry and Twitch, and I’ve set up an Instagram under the name (though there is absolutely nothing there at the moment).
