17. favorite AU to write

ooooooooooh wow i love aus so much but i think i have to go with college aus???? they’re my favourite to read and i always have so much fun when i write them!! i think there’s a certain...light-heartedness to them??? that always makes them genuinely enjoyable to write/read :’)

24. favorite scene you’ve ever written

asldkjf i think i have to go with the final scene of chapter 7 of TLDITM. when isak sings can’t help falling in love with you to even to help him fall asleep and confesses his feelings :’))) i actually thought of that scene right before i went to sleep one night and at the time i didn’t even know if it’d be a little canon compliant drabble or if it’d be for an au. but then i suddenly had this Image of using it in the cuddle fic (since i already had the general plot worked out in my head) and it’s actually the thing that spurred me into starting the fic. i think it turned out how i wanted it to :’)))

asldjkfh okay i’m not gonna give you a wHOLE scene but i’ll give you the beginning of chapter 10 of cut and rewind (since the only other unpublished thing i have is the NBK au)

Even slowly slips into consciousness to the feel ofgentle lips brushing over his face. His forehead, one cheek and then the other,his nose, and finally, the corner of his mouth. Fluttering his eyes open, hefinds Isak hovering above him, wearing an affectionate smile on his face.

“Good morgen,” Isak murmurs. “You’re graduatingtoday.”

The corners of Even’s mouth tip up in a smile oftheir own accord as he slides his hands up over Isak’s back, the words leavinga pleasant hum in his veins. He’s actually here. After all these months, he’sactually finishing school today. He’s going to be handed a diploma and it won’tbe taken away from him. This time last year Even was barely functioning,recovering from a suicide attempt and the worst depressive episode of his life,and feeling like he was miles behind his friends.

But now, he’s living with the love of his life, hehas a job, he’s reconnected with all of his friends as well as making new ones,and he’s finished school.

It doesn’t feel real.

“I am,” he replies and it sounds disbelieving even tohis own ears.

Yousef and Noora’s kiss is a lie

Guys let's be positive and realistic! Yousef likes Sana and they will be end game. This is why: - He always show interest for her; He sent her messages when he didn't have to, he looked for her and try to interact with her in every scene we saw so far - If Yousef liked Noora he would have approached her, the same way he did for Sana, sending her messages or stay with her in her apartment with Elias (we know he didn't do that because if that had hapened Noora would have told Sana in the many conversation they had) - Noora always talked about how she loved William and never said anything about talking or messaging Yousef outside that first night - If Yousef liked Noora, Elias would know, come on. Elias would never talked to Sana like he did if he wasn't sure Yousef was a good guy and that he liked his sister; (We know for sure he is a good person we cant start contesting that) - Yousef is not holding or grabbing Noora when they are kissing, come on, she is much more enthusiastic than him. He is just staying and moving his lips (which leads me to my theory in the end) - Julie would never build a relationship or a caracter and then without any motive make Yousef and Noora a thing. - We are in the 5th episode, every season we have seen so far there is always 2 big problems (ex: William was a playboy + he had a rapist brother; Evan had a girlfriend+ Evan was bipolar), this is just Yousef's second barrier to Sana's heart, nothing more. It's a misunderstanding. This is what this season is about misunderstandings.

THEORY: In my opinion Yousef was just kissing Noora because she asked him, because: or she saw William in the party or because she wanted to show to william's friends that she is over him too. He was just helping Noora and not kissing her randomly. I believe in this!! Let's keep hoping:)

(also on another note, I think you can compare this scene to the bed and cuddle scenes with noorhelm or evak. yousef and sana share the same strong intimacy, maybe even stronger, without even touching. that’s really something extremely beautiful. i also think, that they now know, that they both have it bad for each other. i’m pretty hopeful, that whatever this season has for us (even confrontation), they will face it together)
