hands reach out to touch falling flakes, watching them vanish from the warm heat radiating from the center of your hand.  a new sensation - how quick it cools your hand, only to return to the familiar warmth that once was present.  eyes search the boys face, smiling as he talks, watching the way he observes things - observes her.      “no, first time.”   a simple but small answer.  your voice is always soft, rarely harsh unless presented with the need to.    there was a calm, still and comforting feeling in this moment,  a chance to simply be a child in the simplest of ways.   

 “it’s cold.” you note, kicking the snow covered ground with your shoe.

hey lux i love you so much and you really REALLY understand jane it’s so evident in your writing how much thought you put into her characterization. plus your writing is so gorgeous and fluid and seems to fit well with jane’s character? idk how to explain it well but you just Get her. and im not just saying that bc ur one of my best friends, like if i didnt know you i would think the same thing. i just wow!!! i love your portrayal. and your headcanons are so in depth it’s astounding. ilysm!!!!!!
