🎶Happy Leap Day!!🎵 . February 29th is and will always be a special day for me because it reminds me of everything in retrospect. I’m sure we’ve all grown so much and come so far during the past four years, but what truly amazes me this time is the way my reading journey has shaped me into who I am today.✨ . I vaguely remember starting reading in 2015, and I read ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES by @jenniferniven sometime around 2016 or 2017, and guess what? Not only had it become my number one all-time-favorite ever since, Finch and Violet’s story had also forever changed my life.🐦 . Recently I reread this @penguinrandomhouse @aaknopf mini edition of ATBP and I didn’t understand why I couldn’t stop the tears from streaming down my cheeks throughout Finch and Violet’s search of the Great Manifesto or why my heart still shattered at the question “𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚. 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙄 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨?” or why the book managed to mend my broken soul and made me fall in love with the story all over again......after all these years. . I guess it doesn’t matter because perhaps, it’s the magic of Jennifer Niven’s lovely writing. Lovely masterpiece. And lovely memory of such fictional yet surreal characters. I love this book so much and I can’t recommend it enough.💙💜💛 . By the way, my new radio made the rereading all the more lovely!☺️ I like having some classical music (or countdowns from Billboard charts) accompany me while reading so the combination is pure perfection.🙌🏼 .
