How many best friends do you have? How did you meet them and if you could say anything to them what would it be?

As of right now? I’d say about 5 ½?

And before you ask why a half, I’ll explain! Niral - We met when we were 11 in our first class and have been friends ever since. You’ve been with me through thick and thin. We went to the same college and ended up in the same city for university too. He’s seen me at my highest and lowest points in life and always stuck by me no matter what. You helped me get through high school and you honestly were like a brother to me. We don’t talk as much as we used to but he’s still a great friend either way. We should definitely talk more and do more soon. I miss you.

Zac( vibes-of-summertime )- We met around a year and a half ago at university. We shared a house back then and we still live together today and I just want to thank him for everything recently, our friendship has grown a lot and he’s a true friend. He’s seen me at my worst and best in the last few months. We just get on so well, share the same sense of humour and we just click as friends. I feel I trust you massively with absolutely anything and that means a lot to me! (As I find it really hard to fully trust in people). I hope our friendship only continues to grow from here and we will remain really good friends for a long time to come (seeing we are living together again next year!) Follow him HERE.

Lauren( youstole ) - We met about a year and a half ago also at university. We had a small thing between us but we both didn’t know what it was. In the end, we ended up just becoming just friends and recently you’ve been a really good friend to me. I just wish we talked more and did more stuff together because you were becoming a best friend in my eyes. I hope we do something soon, I miss seeing you around. (Hence the ½) Follow her HERE.

Roxy - We met in university when I first started. I didn’t know how to feel about you at first as I was quite shy but we instantly connected and became friends. Since then our friendship has massively grown and you’ve become just such a good friend to me. You’ve been amazing and I couldn’t ask for better people to know. I know I can always turn to you and talk to you and I thank you for that. I hope our friendship only continues to grow and get better.

Jack - Same as above really. We met when university started. We do the same course and within no time at all, you became a really good friend and over time, our friendship has just grown into a best friend status. You’ve been there for me and helped me when I’ve needed people around. You’ve taken me out for meals to take my mind off things and both you and Roxy have just been so amazing. And all I can honestly say is thank you. I don’t want to lose you guys once university is over and I hope I don’t.

Keanna( princess-keanna )- We met around 3 years ago on this very website. You were getting hate and I told you to keep strong. We didn’t talk very often but when we did, we just connected instantly and clicked. Recently we’ve become really good friends again and talk daily like best friends should (even if time zones make that a little more difficult). Our friendship means a lot to me, more than I think you know and I’d never abandon you ever. I can’t lose someone else like that again. (I’ll put about that afterwards) So unfortunately, you may be stuck with me as a BFF! Fun fact for you anon: We actually have never been able to meet in person. I hope one day soon we will actually get to meet and I’ll get to see one of my best friends. To take silly photos, mess around with, talk and just laugh. Until then, it’s texts, facebook and snapchats. But I hope you know Kea that I’m always just a text, message or whatever away. Even a facetime away whether it be video or audio. Even if thats at 4am my time! You’re very quickly and honestly becoming my best friend Kea, even if you are halfway across the world, and I honestly hope I don’t ever lose you. We didn’t talk too often but when we did, we understood each other very well as we have both been through shit in our pasts. You were a good friend and I do miss talking to you. Aimee - (The one I lost as mentioned in Kea’s). Where do I start this? We met about 9 years ago. We talked a bit and it ended up with us not talking for about a year until we rekindled the friendship. You instantly grew on me and vice versa. We’d spend every single day video chatting, playing games, talking about anything and everything. It got to the point you wasn’t just a friend. Or a best friend. You were like a sister to me. I cared about you. Protected you. You were someone who I trusted completely, a friendship of 4/5 years and I fucked that up and I’m still sorry now. We hardly talk now and when we do it’s nothing like how it was. I abandoned you. I chose an ex over you. And you faded from my life at a time you needed me more than ever. You made poor choices and I wasn’t there to help you. You hated me. I don’t blame you. I was a fool and lost my best friend. And that’s why I vow never to abandon a best friend again. Never to hurt them or let them go. Just to be always there for them, protect them, care about them. Relationships come and go. Best friends are for life. I wish I could see that then. I’m not losing another amazing friend because I’m an idiot. Friends come first. So everyone above, they come first. I care about them. Worry about them. But I’m never giving up on them.
