When things dry up will you trust the Lord? The scriptures teach that the rain falls on the just and unjust. What happens when a just person prays against a corrupt system to stop the rain as Elijah did? “And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.” - I Kings 17:7 NKJV The cause was Elijah’s prayer to God, which God answered. Did he know if would impact him too? Did he pray for it to rain now that the it was impacting him? No, because he wanted to be faithful to what God called him to. If you’re going through a dry season because due to loss of job, loss of popularity, loss of health, loss of friendships, or others losses, hold on to the Lord, who will lead and guide you.
