Being sixteen and sweet

Yowjay is probably one of the handful Tumblristas who I can say na “mabait” without blinking an eye. We met during my trip to Manila last June. He was a complete stranger. I mean, I don’t know him. And he doesn’t know me. Before that, we didn’t have any interactions in Tumblr or in Twitter. In more simple “Awesomeness of Being Awesome” term, we didn’t know each other’s existence. Hahaha. So, we met at (alam na!) Moonleaf Tolentino together with Star and Kris (Hi Kris!). If my memory serves me right, he was busy reading Kris’ Perks of Being A Wallflower so I was a bit hesitant to talk to him. Ano, istorbo lang? And besides I’m the awkwardest of awkwards. Pep talk is not my thing, you know. Believe it or not. Mehehe~

Then, I had the chance to meet him again at the same place the following week. Oh, diba every week meet-up? Hahaha. I really bugged Star to invite him over. Like “Star, yayain mo ulit si Yowjay” though I know that he’s coming over from Novaliches. Todo-effort ‘yun. Haha. But then, unsurprisingly, he came. We became more comfortable with each other. Of course, “birds of the same size, flocks together”. Haha. Tataba din kami, tiwala lang.

Sorry if this is late, sana makahabol pa. Alam mo naman kung ga’no ako ka in-demand. Pogi e. Haha. So ayun…

Happy happy happy birthday!

I heard you just turned 16. Naks, that’s awesome! And I’m 21. That’s lame. I would pay a million bucks just for me to get back to that particular time of my life. I mean, being sixteen and sweet. Haha, of course I’m kidding. I don’t have a million bucks. But if I have, I would certainly make a go for it. Wait, there’s no way I could go back in time, isn’t? Kwhatever.

Ayun, even though this line is super gasgas na, please stay the way you are. Stay sweet and humble and mabait and a “true friend”. Well, as for my birthday wish for you: I hope/wish/pray that your 16th year would be an amazing year. I hope it won’t be such a bitch.Haha. Anyway, I know that you’re very eager to try a lot of stuffs. Of course, being a teenager and all (been there, done that) but trust me, you still have a lot of time. And another thing, I noticed that you were a bit undecided about your college admission. Well, don’t stress yourself too much thinking about a clear career path during high school. That’s partly what college is all about – discovering who you are and what you want to do in life. (You better read this - Of mushy teacher reports, high school life and pre-college dilemma. Sobrang awesome ng author niyan.)

Anyway, when I get back there, treat me kahit isang bottle lang ng T-Ice or GPS. I would really appreciate that. And I hope we can get to bond soon. Yowjay, if you need a brotherly advice, a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on, I’m just a call away. Alam niyo namang malakas kayo sakin. Haha. And everytime you feel unappreciated, always remember that there is this one pogi and awesome person who really, really appreciates you and considers you as one of his little brothers. And that’s me. Kita mo nga naman. Haha. I miss you Yowjay.

Gusto ko yung title ng blog niya. May dating para sa akin. If I'm not mistaken, he is one of the youngest people I follow here. He posts crap that are really creative, well, justifying the name of his blog. Tapos nakakita din ako ng posts related to Percy Jackson. Magkakasundo tayo diyan. :)

Isa pa to sa mga bata kong pinafollow. 13. Ang lakas lang makaPBB Teens ng edad. At oo, PBB Teens talaga tong batang to. Haha. Personal posts, mga nangyayari sa buhay niya, so personal blog to malamang. Lagi akong kinukulit nito na hindi ko daw kamukha yung picture ko. Sabi ko, ako ang hindi kamukha ng mga pictures ko. Approve din sakin ang theme niya. Ang chicks ng BGM mo. Haha. Anong title niyan? Palitan mo na ha. De joke.

Oyy, friends with benefits daw o. Title palang, tigang na. Haha. Ang simple ng theme, walang arte, kaya okay sa akin. Ang classy ng BGM. Laks makasenti. Ilang beses na rin tong napasama sa TC ko e. Gusto ko kasi mga post nito. Parang kung ano talaga yung naiisip niya, yun na. Walang anu-ano'y iboblog na. Haha. Leche. Of all the people, isa ka sa mga hindi ko ineexpect nja maglalike nun. Haha.

Yowjay, Awesomeness Within

Little do I know about this guy but when I opened his blog, all I can say upon reading his posts is that this guy really has awesomeness within him. Malinis yung theme, personal yung posts pero may sense and makakarelate ka talaga. Ngayon ko lang naalala na ikaw pala yung kasama nina Ralph nung MOA MU. Haha! Nakakita pa ako ng group picture na magkasama tayo e. XD

Sorry dun sa mga hindi ko na naisama ha. Hirap talaga akong gumawa ng ganito e. Madalas, yung blogger lang ang napapagdiskitahan ko kasing idescribe, hindi yung blog. Basta next time. :)
