IT WAS late, late enough for sehun to go a head and close up the floral shop he owned and worked at as the only employee. it was a little rainy out, he could hear the droplets hitting the windows and the glass door as he worked to make sure everything would run smoothly when he reopened the next morning. of course, he moved to flip the open sign off before locking the front door but as he turned to go back to what he was doing, there was a knock.

SPINNING AROUND, he recognized the person ( or at least he thinks he does, maybe he’s just seen them around ). the vampire frowns some, moving back towards the door and opens it back up, cracking it enough for them to at least talk. “sorry, i’m closing up the shop. can i help you with something? are you lost?”

--- uh....hm....makoto ?? because he may be the hardest for me to get in character to. and maybe daniel, just a bit because of his popularity.

--- i always have muses i want to add or write for. so many....i don’t have a particular one on mind currently though.

--- uh...define weird...i can’t think of one off the top of my head right now. uhm...

guilong has a huge collection of basketball shoes...yixing has a shelf dedicated to tea leaves and he avidly collects them

Sigh.

If she could have one full week of no trouble with other non-humans, that’d be great, but as successful as she may have been with checking off five consecutive trouble-free days, the sixth one ruined it all. And Li Hua did not like messing with demons. Sadly for her, she tended to rub them the wrong way. She could not really decide whether she was apprehensive of hunter or of demons more but one thing was for sure: she needed all of them to just get off her case.

She had no idea why this man in particular had been set against her. Had he mistaken her for someone else? Had she accidentally hunted on his turf? Li Hua could not remember and the fact she could not was giving her a headache, but she was not just going to stand around looking pretty. If he wanted to make her a target then the target was going to fight back. She may have looked fragile and petite but she was not at all incapable of protecting herself.

This was supported by the moment when the once-neatly manicured nails started to get longer, growing thin and razor-sharp nearly five inch long black nails, ready to cut at whoever or whatever they could. A transparent, thin liquid oozed down the tips of the elongated nails. “Do I look like a runner to you?” she looked at the man, though…well, she wasn’t really looking at him. Her blinded, serpentine eyes could only now detect his body heat, an indiscernible mass or orange, black and…green. How odd. She never saw a creature emanating green. Huh.

Unseeing, pine green eyes remained fixed on the man. “So, what will it be for you? I can fight all night.”

It really wasn’t anything personal against her since she had done nothing to wrong him and before that night he had never even laid eyes on her before. This was just strictly business and she was the name given to him when he was told about his target. She had certainly managed to piss somebody off enough to call out a hit on her but it wasn’t Hyunwoo with the grudge.

The assassin's expression gave nothing away as he stared down at the woman. It was essential for those in his line of work to have the best poker faces and give nothing away, not that there was even much to give away that day. He wasn’t afraid of her, not even when nails pushed through and grew sharp like blades. It was a business he had been in for years and he had taken down many a target stronger than her.

“No, unfortunately. I was really hoping that you would. It adds a little something extra, you know?” The male replied coldly to her words. “I don’t know what you did to piss him off but he was adamant that I needed to return with your blood on my blade which I guess answers your question, does it not? It’ll be your payment for whatever it was you did.” He explained while purplish black smoke began rising from his skin. “Any last requests?”

--- it’s hate/love....i mean, i love learning new things and it gives me a place to meet friends and further my knowledge but i hate it because it stresses me out, and the stress carries home when my parents continue to bear down on me with their expectations. if i didn’t have anxiety and issues with confidence back then, i do now...

You never know who’s watching, and she refuses to be a made a fool out of especially if her first impression doesn’t show the extent of her character. However, you are the company that you keep and if they don’t match you, people will surely manipulate your status to fit theirs. In Carmen’s life she puts that quote on a pedestal, her selection of friends being a pool of carefully hand-picked individual with a social standing equivalent to hers.

Lily was the perfect companion for Carmen. Everything that Carmen was, Lily was also and she was ecstatic the first time they met at some local meeting with concerned moms they instantly hit it off. Which meant a lot to her, especially since she had trouble making friends. At least that’s what her therapist says.

With a pan of ingredients in her arm and her little boy by her side, Carmen made her way towards Lily’s apartment looking forward to a day spent with someone she considered to be a good friend. Rocking back and forth on her heels a delighted smile spreads the moment the door is opened and she’s greeted with a friendly smile. “Ooh, have you changed up our skin routine?” She comments as she ushers her son in after he’s greeted her properly, stepping in herself. The home is familiar to her and even regarded as her own from time to time. It was comforting and clean, aside from a few toys decorated on the floor but it’s to be expected when she has children of her own. “Roman would not let me forget to bake a cake this time around, and even said he would run away to here.” Joking lightly, she disposes of her shoes to stake her claim on the kitchen.

Everyone had their secrets, and the intensity of either woman’s secret allowed them to form a bond that she wasn’t able to form with others. Leaning against the counter she rests her cheek in her palm, drumming her fingers along her cheek. “How have you been the Medusa of my heart?”
