Hej! Thanks so much for asking 🥰 Airport AU is this idea I had ages ago, back when we got Wilmon waking up on the stairs together. I just saw that moment so clearly in the context of an airport, except way earlier into their relationship.
So essentially, both of them are in LA for reasons unrelated to one another, and they run into each other while going through TSA. Wille completely embarrasses himself and just when he's gathered the courage to approach Simon afterwards, he's gone. Wille gets lucky though, as it turns out most outgoing flights have been cancelled due to a storm. While trying to kill time, he meets Simon again and they agree to stick together until flights start going again. Which turns out not to be until the next morning, so they have lots of time to do silly stuff like playing hide and seek inside the duty free area, but also to talk and get to know each other.
I also have this idea where Simon's an aspiring musician in this, so he might just be giving an impromptu concert at some point to entertain people (Cue Wille losing his already fragile sanity😌)
But yeah. It's started and has somehow sat forgotten in my WIP folder until I just got reminded of it the other day. So we'll see how fast I pick it up again. It might need to be in my head a little longer until I have a more distinct vision for it.
