For a long time, they were actually fwb and then kind of dating but in secret. Chuuya asked him officially to be his boyfriend when he was about to move in with him.

Chuuya: Altogether I speak three: Japanese of course (nervous laughter), English and French. I got way better at speaking English because of my work tho.
