My Yrollam lore knowledge is woefully inadequate, so how about 1, 13, 14 from the Secret Ask List to restart my education?
hey thanks!
1) Does your OC have a voice claim, if so who?
not the most exciting but I really like the default voices in bg3 haha. her in-game voice (I think it's fem voice 4) is just her canon
13) Does your OC have a rival? How did it start?
Previously: before her tadpoling, Yrollam was a very scientific woman, lots of careful medical knowledge and experiments and such. So I think her rival was not so much a specific person but the larger medical community of Baldur's Gate, as her experiments -- while making great strides in the field -- often went far beyond the bounds of taste and ethics. (Of course, her biggest dissenters ended up on the bhaal temple floor so 😬)
Currently: maybe a very minor rivalry with Minthara, who is romancing Elberos (Yrollam's best friend slash employer). Minthara thinks Yrollam's an effective fighter but weird/annoying, Yrollam thinks Minthara is very cool but a steamroller.
14) Who's a character your OC cannot stand! It's on sight when they see them!
Sceleritas Fel...Yrollam can feel the echoes of upper management in the depths of her bhaalist bones, and she does not want that life or responsibility back. No underlings allowed, no butlers, no henchmen.
He also popped up the second time right around when she began romancing Wyll / shifting to a better and less murderous state of being, and she didn't appreciate that undermining.
All that I know
Lies within emotion
Words remain unspoken
Lead me through the dark
pre-tadpole/amnesia, Yrollam held herself in tight rein; a strict woman always aiming for efficiency and numbers. Murder and mayhem were a science, not an art, and always in the interest of making her Father proud. Deep down, though, she was never truly calm but bottled up; the defining event here was her amnesia uncapping this bottle, letting the wall crumble, allowing her to be her fully emotional self without the cold facade she'd built over the years.
How your character sees themselves
Laughing with a mouth of blood
From a little spill I took
…
And I can't see the future
but I know it's got big plans for me
she's HERE she has an AXE and despite everything she's having a GOOD TIME! She can't see the future, but she knows it's got big plans for her!
How others view them
You changed how you feel,
It's good to break the seal
And blow us both away
the rest of the tadfools can see that Yrollam a) is going through some stuff, and b) is indeed a strange girl
Their closest relationship (platonic or romantic)
I never made it with moderation
No, I never understood
All the feeling was all or nothing
And I took everything I could
Yrollam woke up on the nautiloid with an old familiar hollow in her heart, hungry for warmth of any kind.
Her most important relationships:
Elberos (my husband's Tav): cast Friends on Yrollam moments after meeting in the nautiloid, intending to use her as a henchman. Yrollam was so touched at this -- he thought she'd be a good minion?? -- she's been his BFF ever since.
Wyll: initially disapproved of her; she was, after all, a little too into the violence that destroyed most of the Grove. but when Yrollam later refused to kill Isobel, turning her back on the Urge, he saw a new side of her, and a romance soon blossomed. For her part, Yrollam admires Wyll's strength in defying Mizora and in sticking to his morals no matter what; he's like a fairytale knight, and she only hopes she can be something like that too someday.
Minthara: Elberos' love, Yrollam considers Minthara one of her nearest and dearest by extension. The feeling isn't entirely mutual, but what can you do?
A major fight scene
Nobody move, nobody gets hurt
But where's the fun in that?
I gotta satisfy the thirst
She's turned her back on murder, but definitely not on violence in general. Yrollam loooves being a barbarian, she loves hacking and slashing. While her amnesia's unbridled her emotional control + set her free from all those pesky familial expectations, her core has never changed: she lives to be told go, kill, and to do it well.
End credits song
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained
If I have to, I can do anything
I am strong (strong!)
I am invincible (invincible!)
I am woman!
I had a few more serious songs, but honestly, this one keeps haunting me. The vaguely uncanny cheer, the painfully straightforward nature of the lyrics, it's all very Her.
I was tagged by @tacticalgrandma :) tagging some people below but @ anyone else who wants to do this, consider this an open tag :)

(the above is what I was sent; no pressure to do it of course)
thank you!
my Dark Urge, Yrollam -
She was a very high-stress, high-achiever Type A until the Orincident wiped all that familial pressure away and reset her nervous system. Now she's finally relaxed! Still a people pleaser, though. She'll do anything for the vine. She got the Volo eye.
Her BFF is my husband's tav, a necromancer. She's romancing Wyll.
