“You must protect the upcoming YTP collab” - YTP collab announcement

Yeah I know I’m probably pulled up a little too early to the party with this one, I had some potential ideas on what to do this year and I thought “Hey why not host a RC9GN YTP collab this year?” And since it’s a YTP collab, it would be best to chose the fan favorite episode the finale of the first season.

Anyways yeah it’s the Randy Cunningham: 13th Century Ninja YTP collab, all the rules are down below. Have fun!

RULES

1. The entry cannot exceed a maximum of up to 2 to 3 minutes.

2. Even though earrape is common in a YTP, some people can’t listen to it without getting headaches. So please don’t make it too loud.

3. Please be aware that some who are photosensitive also cannot handle flashing lights.

4. Avoid anything homophobic, racism, etc.

5. Put a watermark on the bottom right corner of your entry.

6. Send your entries on the comment section.

If you are collaborating with someone, be it for a YTP collab or for something else, ALWAYS do a background check.

I joined a collab for a movie, but I spotted participants making the following “jokes”:

A male character from the movie looking at a woman, until her girlfriend comes along and shoots him. Not a bad joke on its own, until you hear Will Smith’s “Keep my wife’s name…”

A use of Soulja Boy’s “YOUUU!” (I thought that was worth mentioning)

Putting the words to a song from the movie over Not Like Us (the punchline was supposed to be Drake hating it, and then somebody shoots him)

A use of the “AYO WHAT THE FUCK?” sound

Having a white character say “Honey, you mean HUNKules!,” which is what one of the Muses (portrayed as Black women) say at the start of Disney’s Hercules

The part from Spider-Man 2 where an Asian woman is playing the violin and singing the theme song

The “Motherfucker, are you out of your damn mind?” part from Blade

Audio from Game Grumps being used

A character opens a door, and then it’s that one part from Sinners with Remmick. “You must be the owner of this establishment.”

The “If (insert character here) was written by Gooseworx” meme. You know the one.

It’s a shame. Most of the jokes in this collab actually weren’t bad.

The host of this collab had “No racist/Nazi/homophobic/transphobic jokes” in the rules. But to the participants, that only seems to mean, “Don’t make the characters in the movie say the N word or make them wear white supremacist outfits.”

I just think there’s something to be said about how a lot of popular memes/joke sources are just images of Black people, or involve them in some way.
