The Tablet Wars Newbie
If you are like me, you shop on amazon a lot. You buy other company’s products through this site. So does it surprise you that it has started making computers? Yep, the newbie I’m talking about is the Kindle Fire. Kindle Fire is a lower class tablet, costing $200. Many technology blogs and websites have given it bad reviews, but I beg to differ. Sure it’s not as cool or as powerful as an iPad, but it preforms basic tablet work: playing games, watching videos, reading books. Oh ya, it does that especially well. It doesn’t look much different than any other tablet reading, but it has Amazon’s great library to back it. The video isn’t great quality, but it works. To bad there aren’t many in the add store. Over all, for the short time I used it, I generally enjoyed my experience. It most certainly isn’t as great as the iPad, but hey: it’s a first attempt. Link to Amazon product page.
