I know that you love Maizulee Azula/Mai/Ty Lee (me too!), I wanted to get your opinions on another throuple.
Specifically, what are your thoughts (if any) on the Yuetayok ship or Katara/Yue/Niyok.
Niyok is a characters in the Rift trilogy of comics. She was revealed to be a childhood friend of Katara’s from the southern Water Tribe. Personality wise, Niyok is cheerful and upbeat, if somewhat stubborn (like when refusing to leave her job at the Earth Kingdom factory)
The ATLA comics are not good for much. For many reasons they are subpar. Characterization of the Gaang, Maizulee, etc are just some examples of this. However, the character Niyok stands out as a glaring exception to the rule. For me at least, she is awesome.
Imagine a scenario where Yue survives, and she, Katara, and Niyok get together several years after the war. Perhaps four or five?
How do you think the relationship would be like? How do you think it would function? And how would the rest of Gaang and the world (Katara’s family, the Water Tribes, etc) react to this poly relationship.
Speaking of poly relationships, what do you think would be Yuetayok’s association with Maizulee?
Would the two poly ships be enemies due to past interactions in the war? Would they be friends and supporters of each other’s journeys in their likeminded poly relationships?
Would they(Maizulee and Yuetayok) have a friendly rivalry and competition between them?
I didn't know that ship existed! (Well, I didn't know Niyok existed).
I don't know, possibly Yue and Ty Lee get along better, but Azula and Katara are the ones who can't stand each other.
And maybe Mai and Niyok are indifferent to each other, or maybe they get along well, but I don't know, I don't know Niyok.
