Hello my dear Suns!

This week cover is "I remember" by Bang Yong Guk ft Yang Yoseob!

When I listened to this song the first time, I had no idea what an impact it would have on me. I found it while looking for more Yoseob sunbaenim music and I found this collaboration. When I gave it a first listen I was amazed by Bang Yong Guk deep voice and powerful lyrics but when I heard Yoseob pure voice in the chorus I lost it. I remember my eyes watering because he conveys emotions like no one else. His voice is so powerful, clear and mesmerizing and every time I listen to the bridge and the chorus at the end I swear I feel so many emotions that one day I will just explode.

Here's some of my favourite lyrics: "Even with my eyes closed / the light that shined on us is still there / I will keep our precious memories deep inside / even if pain comes along with the days / the days we promised eternal love / I will never forget those moments / I remember".

Here we go with another cover! This time it's "Don't need your love" by NCT Dream and HRVY! This song is just so catchy and the vocals are just amazing! I fell in love with this song the first time I listened to it! The music video also has an amazing aesthetic and I love the colors and all the neon signs, it was so well made! 💕

The cover of this week is "UN Village" by Baekhyun! There's no need to explain how much I love and respect EXO and how Baekhyun sunbaenim is definitely a huge inspiration for me! When he released his solo album I went crazy, I waited years for this to happen! The album is bomb and UN Village has this beautiful vibe that makes it the perfect soundtrack for driving at 3am when you can't sleep. I can't even explain how much I love his whole album 😍🥺

Hello my dear Suns!

The cover of this week is "Toy" by BlockB! This was one of (if not the) first songs that I listened to by BlockB. I fell in love instantly because it has still the particular BlockB sound but it is different from their usual music. It's strong and delicate, it's meaningful and sad. I admire BlockB sunbaenims for their ability to change and explore which I hope us as Solar will have as well. I hope to explore different genres, concepts and try everything and I hope that our Suns will be with us on this journey.

Hello my dear Suns!

Please enjoy my cover of "It Ends Tonight" by All American Rejects! Finally another English song! I was a bit unsure about covering English songs at first because these are all pieces that hold a meaning to me, to my younger self and I didn't know if I wanted to share that part of me. But then I thought that it could be helpful to Suns to see how I struggled too, how I didn't know what to do and how I was insecure of myself. With this song, that was my favourite all through high school, I want to let you know that it's okay to not being perfect, because no one is. As long as you do your best, it's okay. There is no failure, only learning experiences.

Hello my dear Suns!

Here we go with another cover! "Answer" by Ateez! Ateez sunbaenims have an amazing discography and I basically like all of their songs but, when they came back with "Answer" they really took my breath away! The music video is flawless, the choreography is amazing (someone please tell San sunbaenim to stop killing me with his dancing) and the song is superb. Just a masterpiece that I will cherish for years (just play it at my funeral, okay?). Since I started this series, I knew I wanted to cover this song and I am so happy now that I did. I hope you will enjoy it and I hope, one day, to collaborate with Ateez sunbaenims!
