His grin became so insane and lopsided, he almost looked, like it cut his whole face up.

He sighed, looking over himself and idly preening his own feathers. “Yeah, but I think it’s going to go back to normal tomorrow. Can you believe we have to eat bugs and stuff? Ugh.”

“We don’t have to bloody do anything. We are strong independent birds who don’t need no buggering bugs.” He puffed up indignantly.

Bakura looked up at the flitting purple and gold bird. He huffed.

“Yes, appears it’s an epidemic…”

Atem kissed back with a smirk, wrapping his arms around Yugi, cheeks flaring bright pink at how forceful he was being. He pulled back after a moment flushed and flustered. “Well y-you certainly showed him.” He said grinning.
