her name is still yuugi, and she looks mostly the same, except her hair is a little more droopy. she doesnt wear makeup and she has a flat chest (girls don't get picked on for being short as much as they do for being noboobs mcgee)
she's really into games except card game communities (if theyre anything like video game communities) in the 90s/early 2000s more like HELLO SEXISM so she gets pushed around a lot but later on in the series as her confidence starts upping she stops taking anyones shit
the bullying she faces is more emotional rather than physical, as is more common w/ high school girls
like for example instead of ushio beating up her, jounouchi, and honda, she humiliates them all majorly in front of the whole school
which causes atem to be more emotional because yuugi's locked up emotions are filled with even more shame
so atem is batfuck crazy, basically
yuugi wears those scrunchy knee socks and she doesnt even give a fuck.
she doesn't own a swimsuit, just the one the school gave her for swim classes
she doesn't own any nice underwear either. except one day she wakes up with pretty blue ribbon panties in her underwear drawer. (she blames atem, atem denies it)
