this wasnt exactly one of those life choices that she would look back on and be proud of herself. in truth, she was almost taking the cowards way out, going to this extreme just so she didnt have to deal with all the chaos that could come with admitting that she hasnt dated anyone since lexa. there was a lot of emotional baggage that she didnt want to unpack and didnt want to be pressured to do so. naturally, hiring a very intimidatingly attractive starving artist as her stand-in boyfriend.
