Lips pull back and he’s ready to speak on what they have
to do but instead he falls silent. One hundred people only
allowed to survive. A few spots already taken by those Octavia
has sworn to protect, himself being one of them. He understands,
of course, and he’s proud of his sister and the things
she’s accomplished but he knows there must be another way.
Another way to save more than just one hundred out of their
three hundred and forty-six surviving members. He turns to
the boy and he gives a nod. “You scared?”

Since coming to the ground, he had seen a lot of people die already - sky or ground, it didn’t really matter to him anymore, he wanted the deaths to stop. To be able to live in peace somehow - but maybe that was just a childish dream now. And now - the idea that only One hundred people will be chosen to survive, that people he has known for so long - some won’t be chosen. That people will be deciding who gets to live and who will die from their people. It doesn’t feel like it is right. It doesn’t feel like something anyone should have the power to choose.
He has been quiet, sitting by himself, waiting to find out who will be chosen, if he will be one of the ones left to die. He has already seen many of his friends die - some having chosen to take their own lives rather than fear what was to come. As he spots Bellamy he gives a faint grin, shrugging his shoulder slightly, “Aren’t we all scared..?”
