With tthe fact that LINUJ said that left Yuki!Sora identity ambiguous on purpose, I started to think about an AU where Sora, Yuki and AI!Utsuro all ended on Akane's body and now they have to work together to make it work.
OH MY GOD THIS WOULD HAVE SO MUCH POTENTIAL (sad and also kind of funny)

God that would be so chaotic. Like. How would the consciousness work? Would each be able to read each other thoughts? Would each have a different thought zone?
I imagine the people who would “drive” so to speak the most the body would be 1. Yuki (mostly. Both due to personality and likely, due to both Sora guilty and Utsuro’s guilty as well as Utsuro not wanting to live more). 2. Sora, since Sora, I imagine, would also be curious about living, and most likely do impulsive decisions and reactions.
Also Yuki and Sora would have more connections to the living world in the sense of bonds, whereas Utsuro doesnt have much.
(Yuki: MOM SAID IT IS MY TURN TO DRIVE THE BODY
Sora and Utsuro: We dont have moms.
Yuki, squinting and raising an eyebrow at Utsuro (since Og!Utsuro killed his)

I also wonder if there would be commentary of the other two people while one "drives" the body.

On a less comedy theme though, I imagine it would be very overhwelming for all of them in the beginning. Due to being a possibility none of them had thought was possible with 2 of them having had accepted the possibility of dying and letting go. So being thrusted into life again would be. Confusing.
Dealing with relationships would probably be also be really awkward since like. How would Tsurugi and Rei(although she more calm about it) react to while having be able to save someone also having their enemy there?
I imagine Yoruko would be happy about both Yuki and Sora surviving but also unsure about Utsuro, and I imagine keeping up with the conversation with the trio would become somewhat difficult depending on how the switch between people happens.
And then, what to do with the whole guilt over *waves hands at the situation* that all 3 feel to different degrees. ;-;. I feel like it would hurt but at least i feel like Yuki and Sora would try to support each other.
Also, it would be interesting to explore the situation regarding Yuki feelings towards Utsuro. Like. How do you deal when the person who ruined your life(or the AI version of it) lives in the same body that you do now? I imagine it would take some time until things would be settled.
Oddly I can see both Sora (thanks to situation) and Yoruko (thanks to how she is) trying to achieve some sort of peace between the 3 situation.
Overall a really interesting concept!

Honestly tysm for liking my little silly story! I know I've said this like 5 times but I did not expect LMIT to be as much of a hit as much as it's been, thank you if you've bookmarked, left a kudos, or even left a comment!
I'm still working on the sequel fic but honestly all the support I've gotten for this story has helped speed up production, hope you all have amazing days!
The whole "Sharing a body thing" took awhile for Yuki and Sora to adjust to...
Anyways I'm planning on posting a pre-LMIT one-shot soon that focuses on Yuki and Sora post-sdra2
There will also be some flashback scenes sprinkled in bc I'm not going to cover the canon-divergence that happens in the killing game post chapter 3 n.n;
