“Hey, Nee-san, I’m home.” Yukio shuffled in, his coat dropping to the floor behind him as he fell face first onto his bed, “I never want to move again.”

"Get up, Yukio, it's only seven." 

Sigh. Irresponsible little brother. Tsk, tsk - "And you have homework to do, so you should probably get on that instead of collapsing atop your bed."

Yukio blinked, staring down at the girl. “N-nee-san!?” he got down on his knee, “Why are you so little?”

"Nee-san? Why're you callin' me Nee-san?" The now-five year old frowned a bit at the 'stranger', tilting her head to the side. "Only my little brother calls me Nee-san, an' you're not my brother. Too . . . old an' tall an' stuff."

Ryuko wasn't really disturbed by his presense, but neither was she joyed. She overlooked the genius suspiciously. "Well, well, I didn't think I'd see you here." She let out an airy giggle, "I'm Ryuko Suguro, but I'm sure you have known my brother." She tilted her head and swayed side to side playfully, "That's how I know a little about you, Yukio."

Yukio stared at the note on his desk, 'too late' was scribbled on the front in his sister's horrible handwriting. "Too late?" he frowned, "Is this that homework assignment she didn't get turned in?"

“Rin!?” The boy shook his sister, “Rin, wake up!” his sister was shouting his name, crying in her sleep, “Nee-san, I’m ok,” he whispered, hugging his sister but wincing as flames burnt him, but he had to comfort his sister. ((better? ;n;))

It takes her a moment, but she does jar awake, opening one eye after the other.

"Y-Yukio . . . ?" Her eyes widen. "Yukio! Oh thank God - " She hugs him back, maybe a bit too tightly, and she'll have to regret that later when she's not overfilled with relief and mumbling incoherent, incomplete sentences.

"You just - they said you - I thought - oh my God, Yukio . . . " Burying her face in his shoulder and probably getting his pajamas wet, she pulls away to look at his face. ". . . okay. Y-you're okay. Yeah. You're . . . okay . . ."

In contrast to Yukio's now rather white face, Rin had a small blush on hers.
