@lumenisse Flipping the sign of the Fortunitea shop to ‘open’ with a long-suffering sigh, klug had to wonder just how his empathy and want to help people subtly so he could go on his business with some degree of ‘seriousness’ - gosh forbid he go about looking weird because he was trying to be somewhat more sociable - had led to complete strangers approaching the store and himself like this. Gods above help him. Speaking of which, one of said complete strangers was at the door, no doubt waiting to be told their duties as an assistant. “Oh....so you really were serious about wanting to work here, huh. I’m honestly surprised you went through with it and didn’t forget about the whole thing.” Goodness knew he wasn’t the most agreeable at times. “I’ll pay you and any other assistant the same amount I get, but I expect you to work hard, right?”
