DECK THE HALLS / Secret Santa

Minseok blinks a little-- he was pretty sure this was considered trespassing but it was for a good cause! He tried his best to be as quiet as possible - quite a feat for someone like him - quickly looking around to make sure no one was watching him, unable to contain his excitement as a small peal of laughter slipped past his lips. This better be the correct room, or else he was going to dig a hole and stay in it permanently; making sure that his tracks were covered, he tip-toed across the room and slipped his present ( he really did his best to wrap it up! plus the pink bow he added as a finishing touch was cute) under Yunho's pillow.

There was a small rolled up letter attached to the gift:

M E R R Y  C H R I S T M A S ! Christmas is a time for giving and loving and being thankful for what we have. Even though I've never really talked to you much, it doesn't mean I don't appreciate you any less! So here's a little gift from me to you, it's nothing much but I hope you love it!

I don't have much cash, but what I have is made from the bottom of my heart. I learnt to knit a few weeks back, and decided to knit a beanie, a sweater, socks and some gloves! Just for the winter season, you'll be kept warm and toasty, and being warm and toasty is always a good thing so you won't fall sick.

Also, I decided to bake some cookies and a cake! But those are waiting for you in the fridge, because I didn't think it was a good idea to stick a cake under your pillow ^ ^ ; 

There's also a 2015 planner, for the new year! I decorated it myself with cute little stickers to mark each new month because who can resist cute things...hopefully it'll help you start your new year on the right foot! Since you now have a planner, I figured a few colorful pens to keep your life bright and cheery wouldn't hurt, so that's in there too.

I didn't forget the twins too! I knitted them sweaters too, which are in the box, but also this and that. You should know which one is for who, and they might be too old for this but I couldn't resist...

I hope you don't find any of the gifts too cheesy...I wanted you to have something practical and of use! Merry merry christmas and a happy new year! If you ever need anything or want anything, I'm here for you! Hope you have a blast and enjoy your presents, Yunho hyung!

I just wanted to welcome you to the family." He said as he handed you the gift basket filled with Fall items; tissues, cold medicine, bottle of water, and his business card. "If you ever want to talk or need anything, my ask is always open."

"Yunho," he repeated, a grin flitting across his lips as he took the basket. "This is not something I expected from anyone here, but thank you." He offered up an amused smile at Yunho, basket in hand. He appreciated the gesture, much as he'd been thrown off by it.

"If you ever want to talk or need anything, my ask is always open." He smiled. "Sorry that I don't have any cupcakes today."

Minseok jumped in surprise at the sudden tap on his shoulder, his eyes open wide as he turned around, lips quickly curling up into a bright gummy smile, nodding as he bowed slightly; "H-hello! Yep, the one and only Kim Minseok here!" He shook the other's hand in return, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly, a little shy as he received the gift basket, quickly bowing again. "Ah...Yunho-sshi, you're too kind..and it's okay, you owe me cupcakes next time!"

Kai smiled and nodded at his assumption as he shook the other's hand, saying, "Yes, that's me! It's very nice to meet you, Yunho." Then his gaze went to the basket Yunho had handed him and he let out a little 'oh!' when he saw the assortment of things before turning his smile back to him, dipping his head. "Thank you! That's so thoughtful, I'm sure all these things will come in handy!"

The point is... I'm not happy. At least, rarely. Seeing as how I keep trying to make an effort, and receiving none back, is it feeling a little empty.
