Lavellan siblings! I haven't finished Andri's full ref page yet but I put this DAI-era picture of the siblings together ✨They come hang out in Skyhold too after a bit.

I feel most natural drawing Astra wearing the brown Skyhold outfit or full dalish gear, but since I designed originals for the rest I did one for him too.

Another character ref done, Yuni Lavellan in this case! The oldest and shortest of my main worldstate's sibling trio.

He's very much a people-person, if a little overbearing. Fun uncle, sappy gossip and a friendly face, as long as you also approach as a friend. If you go as a threat, he's the stealthiest bastard you've never seen :) Trained by the huntsmaster herself.

Once he moves to Antiva he's learning how to sail with Josie, and though he laughs at the idea of being any sort of ambassador, he does keep contact going between the dalish and merchants/houses etc. that he trusts and can vouch for.

The cat's name is Sulahn (sing) because it yells for attention. He adopted the orangest of orange cats from clan Lavellan's litter, and now he and Josie just live with the consequences.

So I have a lot of Dragon Age oc's. This isn't all of them, but at least the main ones. I love them a lot ;;v;;

I wanted to add Rivra (Nava's mom and the Keeper's scribe) but I realized I have so many Lavellans here already and I've never drawn Florian before, so he got to make a debut instead.

First art of the year! Featuring my DA:I warrior son Yuni.

I've had some small artblock in recent weeks. I don't usually spend this long on a bust only for it to feel "bleh" once I get to coloring and downright unpleasant at shading, but it's a successful finish nonetheless and I think this is mostly a sign for me to find a different style of coloring.

I've struggled with my shading a lot, the early sketches and flats always have much more personality but then I feel like I have to bring everything to a full shade finish, which tends to mute my color use, limit my linework and make things feel lifeless. I think it'd do me good to start drawing more simply.

I miss when I made lots of quick art without stress, and each piece brought joy. For a while now, art has felt tedious and I haven't even had motivation for my usual ttrpg doodles. But hopefully trying to lose some of my unnecessary self-made rules I can get back to it!!

Oc-tober day 13: Yuni Lavellan

This warrior boy is the eldest of my main worldstate's Lavellan sibling trio. Yuni's one of the hunters in charge of keeping the clan's perimeter safe, and usually the first negotiator between incoming traders or other visitors. If the incoming people are coming to harm the clan though, they won't even see him and the others :)

He's a softie off-work though, and kind of a sappy mess when it comes to tales and worldview. Best uncle to Nava and an inescapable rumor mill with his sister Andri. He joins his younger brother Astralis in Skyhold after Wycome with the rest of their little group, now that the clan no longer needs his protection as severely and the other hunters can take his place in the meantime. His siblings try very hard to tease him once they see how sappy he gets with the Seeker, but to their disappointment he doesn't know the meaning of embarrassment. Unshakeable bastard, as they would say.

I really like the sketch better, I struggled with the expression so much in the lineart and it's still not quite the same, but oh well.

Yuni Lavellan, the inquisitor's older brother. Warrior, hunter, best uncle, worst secret keeper, first face any outsider will see when approaching the clan's grounds (or won't see, depending on their intentions).
