Zhu Qiyu, you were already on my shit list but you have now ascended to the most hated drama character I’ve ever had the misfortune to see. That’s quite a feat considering the absolutely monstrous characters I’ve seen but you’ve managed it. I hate you.
Yunxian doesn’t deserve this at all. This pisses me off on so many levels. This drama used to make me happy. Now all I want to do is finish it so I never have to see Qiyu’s face again.
Surprisingly (probably not - really, I should’ve expected this), I’ve totally fallen for Ye Xian. Don’t get me wrong; I know he can be a terrible person but his love for Yunxian is so utterly guileless and has grown over the time he’s known her and I believe his feelings are pure and genuine.
It actually didn’t surprise me that Ye Xian let her go/didn’t pursue her after she left and my heart slightly melted when he said he was satisfied even not having her by his side; it was enough for him to have had her for a bit.
I feel really sorry for him, especially since he clearly knows (like Zheng Qi, my poor dear cinnamon roll) that Yunxian won’t love him.
On a side note, it kills me that she chooses to love Qiyu (who I find extremely annoying) instead of Zheng Qi or Ye Xian. (why, girl, why T_T)
