past thread! 

with the fact that she was still new to the entire “royalty” business, she wanted to make sure she would familiarize herself with her surroundings. even if tsuki’s shown her around the hearts palace the last time she came here, ahyoung still found herself getting lost in the giant castle again. she had just familiarized herself with the clover kingdom’s palace and now she had to familiarize herself with the other two kingdoms?! she needed a break. 

regardless, she wanted to visit the kingdom again, mainly so that she could thank tsuki for her kindness and generosity as well as to check in on how her first hearts friend is doing. but as soon as she enters the palace, she finds herself wandering aimlessly yet again. what a mess she is. though her mother was a noble and she should be used to buildings as these, her curiosity still gets the best of her. not to mention, compared to the clover kingdom, the hearts kingdom had so much more that pertained to her interest. an opera house? a museum? that basically sounded like ideal places for her to visit... but now, she had to search for help regarding where.. everything is. 

the confused look she had before she met the other girl returns to her face once again. she’s sure she recognizes this one area, but she wasn’t sure if that would lead to the other’s room. did she even want to see the other girl anymore? what if she wanted to go to the bathroom? what if she was hungry? what if she wanted to borrow a book from the library? so many places to explore in somewhere new... but she didn’t know what else there was to do that she’d find more interesting! 

she’s overthinking this! god... she really can’t be left alone, especially with her own thoughts.

if only it was every day that the kingdoms threw such festivities then perhaps daphne would be a little happier to consider herself a princess. it wasn't often that she had a chance to visit the kingdom of diamonds, yet one taste of life there had the princess wishing she could stay. the beautifully lit lanterns, the smell of fresh, piping hot meals, and the rhythmic tunes flowing through the crowds of people— it was enough to make daphne's heart scream. daphne didn't want the glitz and the glam that came with being a princess, she wanted this.

and the princess was glad that, out of everyone, she got to experience such an event with her very own friend, yurye. the two usually weren't spotted together, as daphne preferred to reach this specific friend through snail mail, but nonetheless, this was an opportunity she simply could not miss out on. a night of festivities with one of her longest-lasting friendships in the kingdom was what daphne considered to be real bonding. "what should we do first? shall we go to madam bari’s tavern for a quick bite? or perhaps we should. . ."

the princess couldn't help but notice the large crowd forming around what seemed to be a dance circle. how intriguing. the dance was no simple ballroom dance, no, it was something new— something exciting. "on second thought," daphne looked up at the prince. with so many letters passed between the two, one would think that the princess knew yurye's take on dancing, but surprisingly the princess couldn't seem to recall the topic ever being mentioned. was it too much to ask the prince to join her in a dance? she didn't want to run into the crowd alone! what if daphne ruined the choreography? she'd look like such a fool! and with all those eyes so fixated on the dancers, the princess's nerves got the best of her.

this was a test to see how strong their friendship really was. yurye wouldn't actually standby while daphne embarrassed herself, right? they were true friends, right?

daphne needed to convince yurye that this was a good idea. even if they tripped over their two feet, it was an experience worth sharing. besides, when the two were older they could look back on this moment and laugh. so she turned to him and put her big doe eyes into action. "yurye." ah, formalities. gotta add formalities to give it more oomph! "prince yurye," the princess pouted, "would you mind joining me over there? i would like to dance."

location: spades kingdom, outer hallway near the courtyard @yuryecwn​​

Jangmi forced another polite smile at the older gentleman as they walked through the hall. He was standing a little too close for professionalism and normally she wouldn’t care too much, but this was the palace and there were eyes everywhere. Just because she had slept with him once, it was like he thought that she belonged to him and now that her business had surpassed his, he thought that he could strut into the palace as if he owned the place. She wanted to roll her eyes and tell him that he wasn’t even a good fuck, but held her tongue as she saw some whispering maids glance her way as they walked passed.

The man took a step closer to her as he proposed that she showcase his newest artist’s works at her gallery in the upcoming months. But Jangmi already knew her answer, “I’m not sure, I’ve seen some of Jung’s works and I don’t think that he’s quite at the level that I’m looking for.” She took a step away from him as they continued down the long hallway. She wished the man would have formally booked an appointment with her instead of just showing up, trying to convince her while she was headed back to her room. It was so obvious how entitled he was and if they were in front of all the watching eyes, she would have told him off. The man’s smile hardened and his eyes flickered. He stopped walking and Jangmi was about to stop to extend her reasoning further when she caught a glimpse of a certain favorite Prince that she loved to tease.

“Why don’t you send me a formal proposal and I will think about. You have my email.” Jangmi lifted her phone and motioned that she’d wait for the email and then left before the man could say another word. Hurrying after the Prince and using him as her escape from the annoying businessman, Jangmi made sure that others could hear her so that the other man wouldn’t try to follow her. Stuffing her phone into her dress pocket as he tried to catch up to the Prince, she sweetly called out, “My handsome Prince, Yurye~ Dear, won’t you wait for me?”

Dangerous Location: Hearts Kingdom a starter for @yuryecwn​

from the time that jaejin had first met yurye, and even realized the way that the younger male had felt towards eunae, jaejin began scheming in his head. this bit of information was definitely something that he saw as some sort of opportunity for him to use this to his advantage, to possibly help get at least one of his sisters out of his way.

if he could somehow get yurye to either take his sister to another kingdom or even just convince her to give up on the throne, it would make his job a lot easier and cut down his competition. there were a few ways that jaejin could go about all of this, a few ways that he could try and put his plans into action, though the first step was to try and get his sister and the younger male together somehow while also taking on that role of the ‘nice’ and ‘caring’ big brother.

it wasn’t like he couldn’t act, seeing as he had done it over the past 15 years now with ease, though it was the part about getting the two together that seemed to be a bit more difficult, especially since it seemed as if eunae wasn’t interested in the younger male.

jaejin had spoken with his private knight over the matter a countless amount of times, though neither of them could really come up with any sort of solution as to how this could all work out. it wasn’t as if he could control how his sister feels towards someone, he knows at least that the human heart was something that wasn’t so easily swayed or controlled, thanks to his own experience in the past. for now he would just have to wait and see, to just play it all by ear and hope that he could somehow convince his sister that yurye was ‘the one’ for her.

speaking of yurye, jaejin raises a brow as he spots the younger male and lets a slight smirk appear on his face before he quickly changes it into the same fake smile he’s used to using by now. approaching the other male, jaejin holds a hand up and gives a small wave to the other. “hey there, yurye. are you busy at the moment?” that’s it, just play pretend, act like you actually want to spend time with the other. “if you aren’t, i was wondering if you wanted to go do something? i'm finished with my tasks for the day and wanted to have a bit of fun to relax and relieve some stress...that is if you’re up for it?”
