ive always been a yusuhi warrior but i do believe and understand that kurahi are in love its just that the thing is that they will never ever ever ever verbalize this or do anything about it. they are NOT kissing. not even once while drunk or something those two are such balls of control and vicious repression that they are going to take the fact that theyre in love to their fucking grave. the funny part about this is that they can both be coaxed out of their respective holes by other people. like one day yusuke is going to pin hiei to the ground in juuuust the right way to induce something and by something i mean sex #sex but kurama and hiei are too similar in this sense. the true comedy of this is that kurama is deeply and intensely possessive of hiei in a distinctly romantic way despite not having any actual negotiated claim to him so when yusuke and hiei decide to season their occasional fights with other yaoi activities kurama is going to want to blow them both up. both of them because kuramas also somewhat in love with yusuke as we all know. this is going to manifest in The most passive aggression niceness we have ever seen from mr foxboy. He is going to be sniping at them for actual years before he gets over this .
