"Does that mean he can't taste either" I mean real life example my dad lost his sense of smell almost the exact same way and he can still taste. He's a professional chef. I'd imagine both can happen but shouldn't be attributed to one another.

noted! i’m basing this headcanon off of my step-mom who can still taste, but it’s definitely weaker than it was prior to the injury. brains are complicated, man

I've read a couple of your reblogs relating to the American Native thing and am trying really hard to understand the argument that those with foreign ancestry in America should go back to those countries. What differentiates this from any "Mexicans go home" argument? I personally have German, Dutch, and Sioux in me. Which is mine? None of those are my culture. I don't speak German or Dutch. Those places aren't my home. I wasn't born there. That doesn't belong to me, either.

That is...not generally what’s being said and I think you should step out of your feelings for a bit because it’s not like you are unaware of the fact that a lot of tribes are literally fighting legal battles to reclaim territories America’s government literally acknowledged were theirs, screwed them out of, and meanwhile keeps them on shitty reservations with rapist cops and no clean water.
