Yes yes, I feel you, who wouldn't want to get noticed by hot professor Evans ('call me Chris please, I don't like titles' - except in your head he'll never be anything but hot professor Evans). Honestly, just imagine how earnest and kind he would look at you as he hands you back your a+ paper and says "excellent work, as always" and then smiles at you. *melt*

BUT FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION also consider him looking at you like THIS while you're answering a question he just asked the class and how the fuck are you supposed to string words together when he looks at you like that, like there's nothing else in the world but you?.?? All attentive and interested and goddammit there goes your perfect reasoning 😆 (although you know he would be all graceful about it and just easily direct the question at someone else so you wouldn't feel embarrassed by your little lapse).
