that he didn't want to solve the schrodinger paradox of if caelus is alive or not by touching him directly in fear of feeling ice cold skin when caelus himself looks alive and well

only to regret it once he waits for thousands of years with no end in sight and caelus somewhere he can't see or get to

i'm not the biggest visual novel guy but i don't know. what crack did two and a half studios put in adwd because it took barely four days before i bought all of the DLCs including the art book

like. the story is very cliche, it's definitely something that's come up before here and there even if not exactly the same, but somehow they did it in a way that didn't feel very cliche ??? i'm not making sense i just wanted to quickly say that i like adwd a lot. you might see it on my posts here and there if i manage to post
