The part of me that thinks rationally and normally believes that Finn messing with the BS timeline is why Faust hates coffee now. Time has shuffled, and so maybe a few other things were as well. Easily explained away and solidifies the soft-rebooting a character that has been missing for more than a year.

The other part of me that lives for the drama of it all wants to believe Finn was stupid jealous of Faust and CoffeeShop!Lis getting any closer. He's always watching. We know he has yandere tendencies in his character. Purposeful interference isn't too farfetched.
