Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud About Me I'm Mike Sullivan the Certified Tour Guide with a camera who has some really fun and creative ways to tour San Francisco I'm getting ready to announce. If you look at my photo gallery I've put up all the pictures you see in the past 4 months. I walked over 1,700 m 2,736 k in the past 15 months and I lost 50 lbs. I can't say when I do things I always do them right but when I go for it I go all out. My doctor just put me on a 2,000 calories a day diet. My reward for losing weight is to gain it back in style. .. but I'll walk it off again. .. I love San Francisco and I really enjoy showing people around the City. My passion for photography evolved last year. It was the by product of my exploration and taking photos of buildings and places I didn't know about so I could Google everything and really learn about the city from the ground up. I love sunrises and sunsets. I've decided to focus on sunrise on a ferry boat and first light on the city for my first tour. Tomorrow will be my second day shooting on the ferry. I don't write down every detail cause that would undermine the spontaneity that I thrive on. I like the challenge of taking portraits on a boat. The focus changes quickly from the newly risen sun behind the bridge as the boat backs up; then when turned around on the back of the boat I see buildings and monuments; then we're underneath the Bay Bridge (I'm choreographing as I write) then cut to SOMA highrises to container ships anchored to the South then back to the sun glistening. ..
