The Vaud cantonal police station was notified Saturday at 14:40 that an accident had occurred at a place called Niedens-Dessus in Yvonand. A 79-year-old Swiss man was crushed by his tractor while doing logging on the edge of a forest.
Despite the rapid intervention of relief, the unfortunate died on the scene, said Saturday the cantonal police Vaudoise in a statement.
