It has been two months and a few weeks since I came to YWAMKC.. it has been an amazing experience. There will be more to come since our team is now about to go to Zambia and Tanzania in Africa.  I am so thankful that I got to go through healing from my past insecurities and having a time of intimacy with God. 

I thank him that he calls me his daughter, that he made me beautiful just as I am. He gave me something only I can have, and it is special and unique. I don’t have to compare myself with others, and I don’t have to search for any approvals or any acceptance from anyone, because I have been already accepted by him. I can’t expect perfect love from people, when they also need the love that only God can give. Now I don’t have to be afraid in being rejected by people. and now I know that those people need Jesus just as much I do. 

It would be difficult to love on people that rejects me. But I will try, because Jesus did that for me. I am excited to go to Africa, because this will be an opportunity to come out of my comfort zone. I will have to be the one to reach out to people who doesn’t even speak the same language, people with complete different culture, and backgrounds. It will take a lot of effort.. and patience ..

should be fun! even if it is not.. I will still find joy in it. We don't do this for entertainment. There will be lot of difficulties and struggles that we may have to go through.. But because God wants us to reach out to people he loves, we go! We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. [Romans 5:3-5] --------- for next week, we will be preparing messages, skits, church planting lessons, and etc..
