Alright, please let me give you one crucial piece of advice for this hike... it is not for the out of shape people like myself! I had no idea it was going to be as intense as it is and completely overestimated my abilities! I regret to inform you that I could not complete this hike! *insert sad face
Instead, my other half and I trekked along the river (6kms) to a bridge and made tea in the Jetboil! Afterwards we hiked along the road back to where we parked the car. It may not have been the most vigorous hike, but I added some serious kilometers to my runners, not to mention found some great photo opportunity spots!
For those of you that are like myself, I highly recommend building up to this hike and setting it as a “hike goal”!
I figure the view at the top will be well worth the build up!
