Z wolf (part one of zwölf)

Z WOLF is a super hero with wolf powers, who is NOT a werewolf, and he is not part wolf. His name is Zach, hence the Z. He works as a bicycle mechanic in a mega city called Arcadia (it's basically Chicago), and doesn't even turn a head, like the muscle bound Clark Kent. He looks like a normal lanky person, because wolves are lean, but powerful. He identifies every single customer's personality as they walk in the door. His cunning sets him apart from his coworkers and he secretly hates his boss because he could easily run the store so much better, but alas he remains stuck behind his work stand, fixing derailleurs and brakes all day. When he finally clocks out at 6 pm, he goes home and smokes out his little handheld vaporizer just enough to feel not be bitter the whole night. For transportation, he only owns a bicycle, The "Canus Lupus Cannondale" which gets him where he needs to go and never breaks. His dad is a police officer, and his concomitant in the world of dealing with criminals. His dad gives him updates every night, but Z also has a police radio installed in his apartment to help him find the way there. His sense of smell was 100 times stronger than a human's but he has been a smoker for years, so it's somewhere closer to 80 times stronger now. This turned out to be more of a curse than anything else, as he feels the absolute need to keep his apartment immaculately clean at all times, because he is able to smell even the most minutely produced smells from dirt, mold, and any other oder producer. He does use it to his advantage though, quickly able to find any sort of criminal activity without any sort of directions. He tends to keep to himself, but does have a girlfriend named Rachel. Her hair has been 4 colors since he met her but it is brown ninety percent of the time. She works at a restaurant that will eventually be hers, currently owned by her parents. She has a fine arts degree, but obviously isn't using it. She was however, a french minor, and the restaurant is in fact, french cuisine. Unfortunately, almost none of the customers are french, and the one's she does encounter are no more frequent  then any other restaurant in the area. At least she can pronounce everything on the menu correctly. She waits tables there, and hates it very much. She obviously isn't going to quit though, because it is a very successful restaurant, and since she stands to inherit it eventually she is able to bite her lip, at least around her parents. She also likes to bite Zach's lips, when they have sex. He likes it because it's kind of sexy, but sometimes she breaks the skin just a little, and he gets sores in his mouth which can take more than a week to heal. They met when a small fire started in the kitchen of her families restaurant, which is called "Chambard" and he could smell it from two blocks away, and warned them before they were even aware the fire was started. The family of course thanked him profusely, and he talked to Rachel for the first time here. She had a nose piercing which he liked. Unlike most girls he met, she was skinnier than him (he only weighed 135 pounds) and he liked that too. She offered her number to him, something he wasn't confident enough to ask for himself, and they started dating shortly thereafter. He told her almost immediately about his wolf powers and she was obviously dubious, until he showed her his ability to bite through a bike lock (it was his own bike, he had never really been one to steal things.) He revealed his identity to people frequently; people who were just moderately close to him. He wasn't really known yet everywhere though, just at the precinct where his father worked, and at some various places he frequents. Hopefully he won't regret his relative looseness with his sub-identity. Tonight will do nothing to grow his legacy either, as he fell asleep on with his head on his girlfriend's lap shortly after they ate dinner.
