yana walked into the house, almost immediately grabbing a white rag from the kitchen counter to pat down his forehead and neck. “hi!” he excitedly greeted aoi who was settled in the bed. “shall i make you some lunch?” he offered through ragged breath, still exhausted from work. however, the thought of cooking something for aoi felt like such a relaxing activity to focus on after his long day. // @z0yne​

DEAD EYES ROSE SLOWLY FROM THE BODY, blinking once as Black Reaper tried to adjust his vision, only to fail terribly at the task. He was shrouded in a B L U R , each and every thing around him a splotch of a color, a smudge he wishes his could fix with just his thumb. Parts which were once white on his eyes now colored a pale pink, the blood on his clothes and body started to scratching off and peeling in some areas of the skin, where claws would itch most often. Having been kept here for so long, the Black Reaper was developing difficulty remaining grounded and recognizing stimuli until it was all too much. It was almost too late, by the time he had realized that the ghoul has come to feed him, the other was by the door, just about to close it on him.

HE CALLED OUT TO TIIR QUIETLY, but in no way W E A K L Y . It was clear that having not spoken in all those weeks, Black Reaper’s voice was mostly lost, his throat straining to allow conversation. Yet the last thing the investigator would do is let his struggle be explicit. He did not bat an eye or try clearing his throat to correct his voice, instead just... L O O K I N G up at where he thought Tiir’s head would be.

THE WORDS THAT HAVE FOLLOWED could be mistaken for a P L E A , for it would be understandable for a young man in such a position to B E G and B A R G A I N for his L I F E . Yet those who knew enough about Reaper, were all-too aware that this was but a W A R N I N G . Some would even dare assume it be a T H R E A T .

ZED LANDED ON THE TIPS OF HIS TOES, wincing ever so slightly at the pain the pressure under his blackened nails had applied. He had no time to dwell over the searing sensation however, quickly turning around with one leg straightened, kicking the body of the dead legionnaire towards his friends. With the time bought for himself during their attempts to move past their friend’s figure, he ran a pale thumb across a ring finger, releasing a loud pop.

THEN HE TURNED BACK TOWARDS THEM, HIS BODY DISSOLVING INTO BLACK VAPOR-LIKE SHADOWS.

AMBER-COLORED EYES TURNED AN UNNATURAL COLOR OF RED, and moments later these was not a trace left of the albino for all the shadows got sucked into the next guard’s body. The man threw his weapon away, scratching at his face and throat, S C R E A M I N G for his friends to get the demon out of him... but his pleas were only silenced when the sound of a splatter resounded in the air.

BLOODSHOT EYES POPPED FROM THEIR SOCKETS, BLOOD POURING FROM EACH AND EVERY ORPHIS.

BEFORE THE SECOND BODY COULD HIT THE FLOOR, THE SHADOWS EMERGED FROM THE LEGIONNAIRE.

TAKING THE SHAPE OF THE NIGHTMARE-CLAD HUMAN.

ZED LEAPED TOWARDS HIS NEXT TARGET, but the last two soldiers were not intending on falling down without a fight. One of them grabbed on the chain dangling between the albino’s legs, yanking Zed towards the edge of his spear. The blade stabbed through thick smoke while a scarred wrist shoved away the weapon. Instead of turning away from the legionnaire and trying to create distance between them, Zed widened his wild eyes, opening his maw wide open. His teeth sunk themselves into the tender flesh beneath the man’s jaw, pressing down with brute force before he tore he head away from the Noxian’s throat, a large chunk of raw meat in his teeth as his ever-widening eyes turned towards the last remaining target staring back at him with terror.

HIS FRIEND’S SCREAMS TURNED TO GURGLING AS HE DROWNED ON HIS OWN BLOOD, while Zed spat away what he collected in his teeth, baring them like a wild animal.

HE W A S A WILD ANIMAL, HE FELT.

EVERYONE IN HIS LIFE HAS ASSISTED IN TURNING HIM INTO ONE.

THE BLACK REAPER COULD FEEL THE HOT BREATH warming the red fabric against his palm. His other hand was clasping tightly at two wrists, forcing them to bind against each other behind the ghoul’s back. He was holding the wrists in an upwards-tilted position, threatening to dislocate the shoulders if he was to yank or simply even T U G lightly any further up, towards the shoulder-blades.

“If you make a sound and anyone falls witness... I don’t even need to tell you what I’d do, correct?” Reaper teased, whispering the thinly veiled threat as the soft sound of RC cells coming together followed. Two twisted branches, almost mocking the form of a serpent’s tail reached out from under the black dove’s coat. The horror kagune was decorated with mouths and eyes darting around the scene and the captive ghoul, staring at it, S I Z I N G it up and down while also looking away, E L S E W H E R E while the imitation mouths snapped their teeth in its direction.

IT WAS AGAINST THE CCG’S CLAUSE 2, to cause and inflict unnecessary pain against ghouls. Usually, Reaper abided by the rules to a F A U L T , really... he H A D to, if he ever wanted his very own captors to trust him. He had to obey and play his part, execute their orders - he too was nothing more than a defected ghoul in their eyes, after all.

BUT TODAY HE’S FELT DIFFERENT. This case, as a whole, felt different. D I S T I N C T . A pain in the fucking ass, really. The Black Reaper rose the two branch-like tails towards the ghoul’s body, the failed words and mutters of the abomination should be clear in its ear. This is what it was getting for giving the black dove a headache these couple last weeks.

“But since you won’t talk, this should be an easy task for you.” He added, exhaling the last couple words almost seductively.
