i’ve been seeing a lot of hate for ME! on social media and it’s really grinding my gears like it’s not that hard to respectfully dislike something. people are being straight up rude and hateful to Taylor and Brendon just because the song isn’t their “style”, or they’re upset that one decided to collaborate with the other. it’s ridiculous. if you’re truly a fan of them, you’ll respect their decisions they made for THEIR own careers and support them, even if you don’t like the song a bunch. if you don’t enjoy it, just say it in the kindest way possible. they worked their asses off on this song and don’t deserve to be dragged so hard for it.

oh, another thing. Brendon is NOT thirsty for attention for wanting to collab with Taylor. He’s been wanting to work with her for years (the feeling is mutual with Taylor), whether or not she’s a bigger artist. he’s not washed up. peace
