So due to various foreseen circumstances, my (in the home) office has been in a little bit of physical chaos for the last month. But it was supposed to finally be settling down around now, except then ...

My sit-stand desk, which I've had for many years--I think I acquired it sometime in the first three seasons that Glee was airing--suddenly broke. I mean, it's still a desk, but it no longer is adjustable. Fixing it would be in the hundreds of dollars. So now I need to decide what to do with this behemoth *around which the rest of my office and the recent changes have revolved* and whether to replace it with a similar 6 ft long desk (which I probably shouldn't because, like I said, it's a behemoth, it's also difficult to move, etc etc) or replace it with a smaller desk and then have some sort of foldable side table for when I need a larger desk space.

Just, really frustrating.
