First Session of AoS: Soulbound went great!

Btw the Soulbinding consists of: A Stormcast Knight Questor A Fyreslayer Doomseeker A Branchwych (and their grub) A Gold Battlemage and their pet hippogryph A Kharadron Endrinmaster Lady And me, an Aelf Trade Pioneer from. Lethis in Shyish (and my pet mustori)

We killed a bunch of Flesh Eater Courtiers who were getting dangerously close to Hammerhal Aqsha

Apparently we interrupted a "knighting ceremony"

The Stormcast and the Fyreslayer were basically blenders, the Branchwych was turned into a chew toy for a Nightshrieker (GM used the Terrorgheist stat block for them), me and the Kharadron did some teamwork to fight it off, I usually took potshots with my pistol until at the end I ran up to the last Crypt Horror and held out my sword at it as if challenging it to a knightly duel to provide an opening for the Fyreslayer (basically doing the Help action, an action the GM described as a "display of his adamantium balls"). Oh also the Gold Mage had a clutch moment with a spell that made the ground super slick and had one Crypt Horror on Nightshrieker land on it and immediately slip and eat shit, falling off their mount XD

But yeah we made it out of there pretty nicely. I'm still definitely not a Frontline fighter though XD

So uh... Ya boi may be getting into Battletech a little bit. (My favorite Mechs so far are the Marauder and the Javelin, specifically the 10F. ALso the Urbie but everyone loves the Urbie.) Favorite House is Davion/Federated Suns Also after more lore reading:

I can kinda vibe with the Magistracy of Canopus Like the matriarchy stuff doesn't really bother me all too much, but I can dig the whole hedonistic freedom of As long as all parties are consenting adults and no ones getting seriously hurt vibe.

My Nocker just cast his first successful Cantrip last night! \o/ There was a scene where a Noble's Carriage got attacked, everyone seems to be dead and the carriage is on fire, my nocker is investigating the scene and rolled really well but needed to find out about the carriage's contents, so he took out a cig, tossed it into the fire and then used the fire of the carriage to light a new one for him as the Bunk (Succeeded the Stamina roll to not burn himself) and then successfully cast (with only 2 dice and the bunk reducing the difficulty down) a Primal cantrip that let him ask the Fire itself about the contents.

Meanwhile the one other time he attempted a Cantrip before this was a Contract with 5 dice, not a single success XD

Contract is like his highest ranked Art btw
