Daily Writing Challenge - Day 7 "Charity/Soul"
Through the eye of bronze dragon, the world was as intended. There were little to no changes in the way events played out. Zachromu, a bronze who was gifted more than his kin, regarded the struggles and suffering of mortals with utmost discipline. Yet... in his heart a strange guilt hung over his mind. He hadn't heard the footsteps of Skuldormu's approach, but the older bronze took a seat next to him as he overlooked the city of Stormwind. "Why is it that the mortals draw you so?" Skuldormu inquires this as he raises a cup full of coffee. His eyes trained onto Zachromu as if any motion he would make would break the very spectrum of order.
Zachromu took a moment to think over his thoughts, even though the answers had been recited in various ways. It was strange how the threads of fate began to unravel into different paths and outcomes. He could say simply, because he wanted to or that it was a part of his destiny. But the truth was he had felt so sorry for what he was forbidden to alter or prevent. Even the youngest whelps of Nozdormu's brood understood the implications of involving themselves when they shouldn't.
"You know as well as I do, that my involvement is imperative to the order of the timeline." He said this as if it had mentioned it before. Which he might have at one point or another.
Skuldormu lowered his mug and shook his head. "Do you find what you do an act of kindness or charity to the mortals?"
Zachromu gave a sad but small smile. "You know me too well. It's in my soul that I was given this privilege for the betterment of others."
"This is but one of the traits I find myself drawn to. You know that it does put you in danger as well though?"
"You know we can not escape our fate. We die to the cause we serve."

TMI Tuesday: Write a drabble where Alicion and Eraz are 'loving' partners. (We both know the world would end before that ever happened)
Chrono-Paradox
As far as events go, everything happened according to the grand plan of time. Except on this occasion, where the infinite dragon, Erazeran found a perfect loophole in which to intercept the blue dragoness, Kelzygosa.
Post the Nexus Wars, she was making her way to the land of Quel’thalas, preparing her mind for a plan that would ultimately subjugate her to the needs and whims of mortals. This was not acceptable to the Infinite, who possessed the very evidence she would need to refute such a life. Just as she was nearing the shores of Quel’thalas, his claws grazed against hers as he harkened her with a cautionary roar.
Hissing back at the blackened dragon, the blue steadied herself and regarded the lone time traveler. “You came alone? How foolish of you to think you could take me on!”
“I didn’t come here to fight, I came here to talk.” Erazeran’s tone reverberated much like the echoing voices of Temporus and the other infiinite dragons. “Let me show you what you’re about to walk into, if that’s really the life you want to live.”
A golden gateway appeared behind Erazeran as the golden tether merged within his back. “You will need to let me hold onto you, otherwise you could be lost to the parallel universes of Azeroth.”
Kelzygosa’s snout rippled with visible distrust, but given the outcome and loss of her beloved Aspect - she was still uncertain what course to take. Drawing nearer to the male dragon, she felt his claws latch on beneath her forearms. It wasn’t anything that was meant to hurt, but to provide security for their travels.
