I thought they were terrible when I saw them in Apollo Bay. We left half way through them butchering a Hendrix cover. They singer and guitarist were just trashed and couldn’t hold a tune together.

Yeah, I can see how you'd think that. To say they are very raw would be an understatement. I love their don't-give-a-fuck attitude though and they have a good rapport with their fans. Each to their own.

The band would have to have a particularly impressive track record of engaging with their fans for that money to be worthwhile.

Well, for others, when you think about the CD is worth $20 and I'd pay $30 for a poster, so it's sort of value for money. Just for me, I don't need either, so it's pretty much $50 just to meet them...

Thank you, good thoughts are always appreciated. For once, I'm actually trying to stay positive. He seemed more exhausted and restless than anything. He's hurting but isn't completely incapacitated. I'm saving my worrying for when he has surgery, I feel like that's really the only thing that can go wrong at this point.

Milla Jovovich, John Candy, Helena Bonham Carter, Michael Caine. I hope that is random enough to keep you going for a while, haha.

Milla Jovovich:

The Fifth Element - By far my favourite with her and one of my favourite movies, period.

Resident Evil - I don't think I need to explain.

Ultraviolet - Only because of how stunning she was in it, the movie itself was quite shit except for the last fight scene.

John Candy: I haven't seen enough to have a top three. I've only ever really seen Spaceballs and that's not really my kind of movie.

Helena Bonham Carter (she's on my list of actors filmographies to work through, just haven't gotten around to it yet):

Fight Club - Marla Singer is one of my all time favourite characters and no one could've done her better than she did.

Big Fish

The King's Speech - I really enjoyed seeing her in a very quiet but still quirky role.

I would probably have put Bellatrix Lestrange up there if it was only about characters.
