Oh, ok! I don’t know anything about Homestuck so I didn’t know there were sprites like that! Also, I like really your edit! (It’s really cool: the shading, the pose, etc!) Honestly, this blog just keeps getting cooler, haha :]

nope, not skin edits! in homestuck (the comic and the games pesterquest/hiveswap) characters have sprites! its super popular for people to make edits to these sprites, they can be tiny or complete overhauls!

heres an example of a sprite from hiveswap friendsim!

and heres an example that ive edited! (a homestuck/dsmp crossover edit for a tubbo fictive! its an edit of the sprite above :3)

so yeah! i can do these for dsmp also its super fun for me, homestuck has different types of sprites (ministrifes, talksprites, walksprites, if you wanna see what those look like i can make a seperate post!) so its good to have people specify, i have the most practice with friendsim sprites so! if youd like to request one make sure to be super specific!!

Heya, I was wondering if you guys have a request cap? I saw that you guys have a ton (imo) requests right now, so I thought the requests might be almost full (/speculation).

Also, I was looking at the shufflemancy and wondered if you use a specific playlist for shufflemancy requests? Just curious!

okay so logically you would think we WOULD have a request cap, but we basically just go off of inbox vibes, the last time we closed the inbox was because we reached 40 something asks and decided THAT was the limit atm, we might close the inbox if we hit 25+ but again we literally just base it off of vibes. it does help that we can list certain requests being closed on their own using our pinned post (like closing art or tarot, those are usually the ones that require the most energy).

as for shufflemancy! i just used my liked songs on spotify which has over 1200 songs, and what i do is i shuffle the number of letters in the askers name, and if they dont provide a name ill shuffle the amount of letters in the person theyre asking About's name (if that makes sense). if the other mods want to chime in on this post on how they do it they can come back and edit it later!
