                  “   you  know  what   ?   the  sun’s  out  and  so  it’s  beautiful  .   if  you’ve  got  no  one  to  hang  around  with  today   ,   i  can  accompany  you  and  give  you  a  tour  around  the  island   .   how  does  that  sound   ?   ”

                    “   i  can  feel  your  eyes  on  me  .   so  instead  of  just  standing  there   ,   why  don’t  you  join  me  here   ?   ”     voice  mumbles  softly   ,   though  loud  enough  for  the  other  to  hear  whilst  her  gaze  focuses  on  smearing  the  cream  on  the  cake  she  just  baked  .

     as much as he wanted to hide under the covers all day and listen to his artistically curated to perfection ‘songs to cry to’ playlist that took him three months to make, he forced himself out of his villa and out to the beach. he lay flat on his back, limbs spread out like a starfish before something eclipsed the sun. “ hey, ” he groaned, propping himself up to his elbows. “ can’t you see i’m photosynthesizing here? ”

⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ althea was growing more and more desperate after not finding anyone interested in helping her. it’s then that she sees them in the distance. “ hey! ” she calls out of the nowhere, quickly trying to catch up with the other. “ i know this is out of nowhere, but someone cancelled a birthday party last minute and now i have a lot of food... ” it’s obvious that she’s distressed. even then, she tries to maintain her smile. “ so... if you’re not too busy, could you help me either eat it or prepare some lunchboxes for everyone? pretty please? ”
