Whats Slovakia like?

Oh, man. Well, the first phrase that comes to my mind is: visually stunning.

National parks:

Numerous castles:

Glacial lakes:

We’re quite a tiny country, I mean, 5mil. inhabitants, and we’re fairly young compared to other countries (been declared a sovereign state in 1993). It’s very oldschool in some aspects, mainly coming from the fact that just like Poland, Slovakia is a religion-oriented country, strongly catholic, with a folk tradition. 

People are mostly very warm and friendly, for example I live in a village near the second biggest city in Slovakia and I’ve known everyone since I can remember (it’s also been founded around 13th century, so there’s the rich history you can also see on the pics above, with the castles and such). Good schools which are free of charge.

I don’t know, I love it here. It’s a little out of reach, considering it’s in Central Europe and economically is far behind its neighbors, but, you know, it’s my snug little homeland. You should definitely visit, if you love winter sports or hiking or you just plainly want to visit one of our cities and have fun.

Hi Zar, I'm Christina :D I'm doing pretty good :)

Canada's doing good too I guess haha. I like it here, even though it's cold a lot and there's a ton of snow here. I've lived here my whole life so I guess I'm biased but I think it's great. :)
