#DISCODADDY Chapter 4! We are in Boston visiting Anna’s aunts, uncles, cousin, mom, gram, sister and Zaras only cousin Sterling! She definitely takes after her parents as she is a very social baby. Up until now her smiles have been reflexes, but last night we caught her smiling at us while we were sleeping in her co sleeper! On New Year’s Zara will be 7 weeks and it will be my first new year’s eve at home with my baby, Best New Years yet! #DiscoDaddy Chapter 3 Zara is going to be 6 weeks old on Christmas Eve and we are excited to be spending it at home together! This past week was a biggie for our little princess. We shot a 6 look spread for the amazing @glassbookmagazine with 6 different Christmas looks of course! Our amazing friend and designer @AngeloVizCreations hooked us up with some incredible headpieces and a Christmas cape and headpiece for Zara! She definitely knows how to act in public, haha, she made eye contact with the camera and saved all her crying after the shoot. With that said we are really considering getting her involved with a baby agency, however with caution, as I could totally be that dad at auditions lol. Sleep is actually becoming more of an idea than reality. We are rotating on shifts at Zand Manor lol, I stay awake with the baby from 7ish am to 5pm-ish and Anna watches her while I sleep from 5pm to 11pm. Zara is definitely the Queen of the house, when she opens her mouth we run to her service! Nick Names, anyone who knows me knows I love nick names! I definitely have been calling Zara a couple, from Ziggy, to Zagooglebub (I’m corny) However I am starting to call her by her nick names more than her actual name! I guess my only fear would be that she thinks her name is Zagooglebub lol, but it’s so cute! Going to make more of an effort to call her by her name and to speak to her in farsi more, as it is very important to me she speaks farsi. This look was a fun one to shoot with Zara, I love that I can leave the apartment at night looking like the kool-aid daddy and then the next day pushing the stroller. The neighbors are definitely very confused and they need it! Most people in the building are cordial however I get those couple slick comments here and there.when I am heading to work in my looks. God just give me the strength to refrain when the baby gets a bit older!!  I am not sure I will be able to handle disrespect in front of my baby. Anna had the perfect solution, she told me to just say out loud to Zara, “That is how adults who were not raised well and loved by their parents act.” With that said we love Zara very! #zarazand #discodaddy #kayvonzand #zaravaughnzand (at New York Towers)
