I enjoy your writing so much and have been following your blog in secret for a while! But I know nothing of you. How long have you been writing? How old are you? Do you have children? Where do you get your inspiration? Do you follow every blog back ? How many followers do you have? Could you list some of your favorite blogs or writers? What are your thoughts on abortion and same-sex marriage? Are you religious?
Hi there! Nice to meet you unknown person ;) Wow those are a hella lot of questions.
Well a few things you could have gotten an answere if you would have read my about me page, but ok. I don’t mind answering the question, since I hardly get so many questions all at once.
How long have you been writing?
I have been writing for over 20 years, on and off not constantly. I have had periods where I simply could not write, the longest was 2,5 years. From the day I found out I was pregnant with my first child till she was almost 2 years old. She probably made me so happy and filled up with other thoughts that I could not write no more. I felt so uninspired although I was super happy :)
How old are you?
I was born in July 1982.
Do you have children?
I have two small children, one of them is making us worry. She can only stand on her tippy-toes and she has a spastic in her calf muscle, causing her to walk like this. She is becoming braces and special shoes as well as a botox injection in her muscle on the 9.9 and to be honest I am so excited! I can’t wait to see how she reacts when she sees her shoes, since she loves shoes and always wants some herself. But since she can’t wear any, she is getting special ones, with which she can hopefully walk! My other daughter is 3 years old and just a cute little girl having a tantrum now and then.
Where do you get your inspiration?
My inspiration comes from everywhere. From the conversations with strangers or with my husband, who I must say inspires me a lot. He is mathematician and very philosophical. I don’t alway agree with him but that makes everything even better (most of the time). Other than that I love art and music. And nature is probably the biggest inspiration there is! I also love the conversations with some of my friends here on tumblr. Sometimes just a random word out of an email inspires me.
Do you follow every blog back ?
I do not follow every blog back, but I do have a variety of interests. Ranging from art, cooking/food, history and even well made porn :D as well as music and calligraphy. So there are a lot of blogs I follow, but I do not random follow blogs.
How many followers do you have?
I have under 1000 followers and over 700. I think that is enough for you to know.
Could you list some of your favorite blogs or writers?
Ok I get the feeling you just wanted to have a list of blogs I like. Most of the blogs listed are writers but I am very dependent on rebloggers like notjustcookies, since I follow so many writers from different time zones, making it for me almost impossible to read it without the great reblogging of those dedicated rebloggers!
What are your thoughts on abortion and same-sex marriage?
I think a woman should have the right to choose. There are a lot of situations I can not even imagine or judge upon, things I have never expierienced, so how could I forbid a woman an abortion when in example: I was not the one being raped.
In this era, there should be no question whetever or not to legalize gay marriages, I think this is a profound human right and we should be far enough in our thinking as to just let others do as they please as long as they don’t hurt anyone. I have met so many great people, what does their sexual prefernece matter to me or why should their sexual preference even bother or be important to me. This is something private and I think everyone should have the right to love whom they may, like I said before, if they do not hurt anyone.
Are you religious?
I was baptized catholic. But I can hardly identify myself with any religion. Although I have met so many people with all kinds of beliefs, I am always open and interested in what they tell me about their beliefs. Sometimes I get to question myself and who I am, what is the purpose of all and why are we here. Just some questions that can never truly be answered except with the heart.
I am more agnostic than anything else, because I always come to the point where I think - I do not know. I do admire people who believe so strongly, that it is truth to them. This is just something magnificient and maybe one day I will be hit by truth or maybe I will just have a revelation and become Muslim or Jewish. I do not know what will happen in the future. As for now. I do believe in a entitiy, undefined and I sometimes pray to a higher might, especially since the health issue of my daughter and it does give me strenght but more I do not know.
